Ronicon Engineering is committed to making this catalog accessible to all users, including people with disabilities. We work to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA and the Israeli Standard 5568 for accessibility of internet services.
Our approach
Accessibility is built into how we design and develop this site, not added as an afterthought. We use semantic HTML, sufficient color contrast, scalable text, descriptive link labels, and keyboard-accessible navigation throughout the catalog.
Features that support accessibility
- Semantic HTML5 markup with a clear heading hierarchy
- Color contrast that meets WCAG AA requirements for body text
- Full keyboard navigation across menus, search, and forms
- ARIA labels on interactive elements where appropriate
- Alt text on product images
- Text that resizes up to 200% without breaking the layout
- Screen-reader compatible parametric search and result tables
- Visible focus indicators on links and form controls
- Forms with clear labels and helpful error messages
Known limitations
We are honest about where we still have work to do:
- Some PDF datasheets supplied by manufacturers may not be fully tagged for screen readers. We are encouraging manufacturers to improve this and will update files as new versions become available.
- Older product images may have brief alt text rather than detailed descriptions of every visual element.
- Complex parametric data tables can be challenging to navigate with screen readers, even when properly marked up. We continue to refine the experience.
Compatible technology
This website is designed to work with current versions of:
- Screen readers: NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver, TalkBack
- Browsers: The latest two versions of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge
- Operating systems: Recent versions of Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android
