Important notes about using catalog data in your designs.
Effective: April 22, 2026
This page exists to make our position clear: the catalog is a starting point for engineering decisions, not a substitute for them. Read this carefully if you are planning to design any of these components into a product.
The technical specifications, ratings, dimensions, and other data shown in our catalog are sourced from the manufacturers we represent. We work to keep this information current, but errors and changes happen — manufacturers update datasheets, revise tolerances, and discontinue parts without always notifying us immediately.
If a parameter matters to your design, treat the catalog as a guide and confirm the current values against the manufacturer's most recent official datasheet before committing.
The selection of any electronic component for a specific application is the responsibility of the design engineer, not the distributor. Our role is to help you find candidates and to provide the manufacturer's information clearly. Your role is to verify that the candidate actually fits your application.
Before designing any component into a product, you should:
If you are designing for medical devices, life-support systems, military applications, automotive safety systems, aerospace systems, nuclear facilities, or any other application where component failure could result in personal injury, loss of life, or severe environmental or property damage, you must take additional steps:
Components shown in our standard catalog are not specifically qualified for safety-critical applications unless the datasheet explicitly says so.
All product names, logos, and brands mentioned in this catalog are the property of their respective owners. Use of these names on our site does not imply any endorsement by, or affiliation with, parties not formally represented by Ronicon Engineering.
Where the catalog links to a manufacturer's own website, that link is provided for your convenience. We have no control over those external sites and are not responsible for their content, accuracy, privacy practices, or availability.
To the maximum extent allowed by law, Ronicon Engineering, its directors, employees, and agents will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages of any kind arising from your use of catalog data or your reliance on any information published on this website. This includes losses related to design errors, production delays, component failures, lost profits, or business interruption.
Nothing in this disclaimer limits any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
If anything in this disclaimer is unclear, or if you need a more detailed engineering review for a specific application, please contact us at [email protected]. We are an engineering company first — we'd rather have a conversation about your application than have you guess.
